The critically acclaimed exhibition Vija Celmins: To Fix the Image in Memory is currently on view at The Met Breuer through January 12. A wide-ranging retrospective of this Latvian-born American artist, the show presents six decades of Celmins’ artistic accomplishments, with some 120 works illustrating the development of her practice across many media.
To complement the works on view on Floors 4 and 5 of The Met Breuer, The Mezzanine Gallery at The Met Store is delighted to offer another Celmins work: the screenprint Spider Web, from a 2009 edition of 117. Displayed in The Lobby Store at The Met Breuer and for sale to discerning collectors, this print evokes one of the artist’s most distinctive motifs in recent years.
Visit The Met Breuer today to buy the exhibition catalogue, and even purchase a Celmins work for your own collection.
